Editing multiple pictures in Google Photos

With the release of Google Photos in Google I/O 2015, google provided a excellent way to organize your picture automatically, Which means it is excellent in auto organizing pictures which you took from your phone/camera with all digital metadata information like time take and location info, even if the location info is not there google is smart enough to pull that data out of your phone (if location setting is on) and use them combining with your pictures. Combining the power it can bring up the results for queries like "Election in Delhi" and it will pull out any pictures you took on election day.

But the pain points comes when you want to have some custom information in your pictures, like with the old scan photos which do not have this metadata information. There is no multi edit function currently in Google Photos and all you can do is go and add description to each picture one by one. It even miss the feature of arranging photos by dragging and dropping.

Thankfully google kept a savior Web Application which is quite old but capable of doing such tasks Picasa Web Albums. Just goto web album, you will be able to see all your collection in my photos sections. Select a Album and you will see multiple options on top to edit it. Your changes will reflect in Google Photos (and vice-versa is also possible).

I hope this solution will help you a little bit while manually organizing your pictures in google photos
